When 12-year-old Kaleb Klakulak lost his best friend, K.J. Gross, earlier this year, his heart was broken. But when he learned that K.J.’s mom, LaSondra Singleton, couldn’t afford a headstone, Kaleb decided to do something about it.
He took on odd jobs, collected donations through PayPal, and worked tirelessly until he was able to hand LaSondra $900.
“I cried because it was unexpected. I cried because I’m trying to figure out things from day to day,” LaSondra said. “Now, I can see his final resting place. I have a place to go and be with him.” ❤️
A beautiful reminder that friendship, love, and kindness can make the heaviest burdens just a little lighter.
