This was my beautiful wife back in January, getting ready to take her exam for Chief Petty Officer. She was in between chemo treatments, battling fatigue, nausea, and chemo brain — but she refused to let any of it stop her.
When she came home, I asked how it went. She smiled softly and said, “I prayed my way through the exam, so it’s all in God’s hands.”
Today, the Navy released the advancement results — and she was selected for Chief Petty Officer! ⚓️💛
For those who don’t know, being selected for Chief is one of the biggest milestones in a Naval career. This year has tested her in every way possible, but she never gave up. Through every round of chemo, every long day, and every prayer — she kept her faith, her strength, and her spirit.
She is the definition of a fighter.
Congratulations, Chief Select. I am so incredibly proud of you — and I love you with all my heart. ♥️
