The subtlety in both of their facial expressions gives me chills. After the first photo he checks his watch, which is why Suki asks if they have time. The stare down begins when he says he's not going to talk about "her" (R), which is when Suki's expression changes to fear. She makes the decision to not look away, but to shift to the clip. She's having to process in real time that this man is trying to intimidate her for doing her job, and the whole production crew is watching. Her job is to keep going. He seems to realize that he's succeeded in threatening her, and can now fake a smile and look away to diffuse the situation.
Suki's response in the latest episode seems to be directly linked to this moment. She's not going to let him intimidate her out of asking questions or watching clips. His refusal only causes embarrassment for himself.
David was asked a direct question about the "rules," between him and Kody, and was able to clearly set a boundary without intimidation. On the same topic, Kody seems like he wants to answer, thinks better of it, then tried to have another stare down with Suki to make it her fault for making him uncomfortable. To say, "I'm not able to talk about that," acknowledges that there's a personal or legal reason as to why he can't speak freely. Dude is tying himself up in knots because he needs someone else to be responsible for his discomfort.
