Keanu Reeves was spotted on a flight from London to New York yesterday, and he once again demonstrated why he’s so beloved. During the trip, a young boy approached him for an autograph and began asking him a series of questions. Keanu, with his characteristic kindness, happily answered every single one.
When the boy asked why he had been in London, Keanu explained he was filming a documentary. The boy then mentioned he’d seen online that Keanu had attended the “Grand Prix” (pronouncing the “x”), to which Keanu replied in a French accent, “Yes, the Grand Prix! F1! Racing cars!” without correcting him.
The questions continued:
“Do you drive?” Keanu responded that while it wasn’t F1, he loved riding motorcycles.
“Do you live in New York?” Keanu said he lives in Los Angeles.
“How long are you staying in New York?” After some thought, Keanu cheerfully said, “Five days!”
“Why are you in New York?” Keanu shared that he was going to see a Broadway show, American Buffalo by David Mamet.
“Where are you staying?” Keanu replied, “Downtown!”
As the boy ran out of questions, Keanu turned the tables and started asking the boy about his trip: “Why were you in Europe? Which galleries did you visit in Paris? Which one was your favorite?”
Despite the exhaustion of an international flight, Keanu Reeves couldn’t have been kinder. This small interaction left a lasting impression, showing his humility and thoughtfulness. Moments like these prove why Keanu is such a class act and an inspiration to so many.
