When Hunter stayed with Janelle, he openly told K his rules were dumb and unnecessary. Despite being schooled by his son, K stayed over longer than usual while Hunter was there.
But when Garrison disagreed with K’s rules, suddenly Janelle had to kick him out of the house. K said she was “choosing the boys over him” and stopped visiting her and Savanah until Garrison was gone, when they moved into the trailer.
K’s “rules” weren’t really about safety, they were about control, especially sunce K never vaccinated while Janelle’s household did. And he showed clear favoritism: Hunter could challenge him without consequences, while Garrison was punished for the same thing.
