Jennifer Prior was devastated to learn her twins might not live. Despite this, she carried Macie and Marcus Lee until 29 weeks, when they were born—small, vulnerable, and struggling.
They were quickly put in a special twin cot, allowing them to be together from the start. This cot helped their bond, made medical care easier, and comforted their parents during their worry.
After three months in the neonatal unit, the twins went home, well and full of life.
Now, their family helps fund more of these cots, hoping other twins can have the same positive outcome.
