In Auckland, New Zealand, two 13-year-old boys, Blake Ockleston and Daniel Coyle-Smith, were outside playing Pokémon.

The boys were enjoying their game when they noticed an elderly man having trouble crossing the street. He was standing with a walker, shaking, and clearly unsure of how to get across safely.
Blake and Daniel immediately stopped playing and walked over to help him. As they began to guide him across the street, the traffic light changed. So one of the boys stepped in and stopped all the traffic to make sure the man could cross safely. After that, they helped him across another street. But they didn’t stop there.
After getting him safely across, they also walked with him all the way to his destination—the train station. When they got there, one of the boys asked a security guard to stay with the man and help him further.
A woman named Lyqueeshah Brooks saw what the boys did and shared the moment on Facebook. She wrote: “My heart is so full right now. These boys helped this man cross two pedestrian crossings in New Lynn just now. Shout out to these boys’ parents. If it wasn’t for them, no cars would have waited for this man to cross.”
