I glanced over and noticed a Sheriff filling his tank, so I approached him and politely requested assistance. I was stranded, four hours from home, and alone. He dismissed me with a look, as if he had other priorities.

Fortunately, a man named Klennis witnessed the officer’s lack of concern. He approached me and offered, “Come on, I’ll help you.” Klennis immediately recognized the tire was beyond repair. I checked my trunk, hoping for a spare, but there wasn’t one. It’s a lengthy tale, but Klennis went to Walmart, bought a new tire, and skillfully removed the old one, replacing it with the new one. Klennis’s son and another young man pitched in.

I truly felt divinely protected during this ordeal.

Angels truly exist in various forms. Klennis dedicated two solid hours to getting me back on the road. He mentioned having a 21-year-old daughter and that he’d want someone to assist her if she were in my predicament. I’m incredibly thankful to have arrived home safely.
