“Hello, Mr. Guard!

Could you tell me which train I have to take to go back in time?

– Where my grandparents are.

– I want to go back there, where I was happy with my grandparents; they always had time for me, loved my pranks, and helped me stick stickers in my album.

I used to play tic-tac-toe with my grandfather and I always won. I know he let me lose just to see me happy.

-There was friendship there, good morning, good afternoon, excuse me, did you help me, neighbor?

-He didn’t sign papers if he had to pay, his word was enough.

Do you know, Mr. Guard? I miss my grandfather’s caresses and advice, the desserts and delicious treats my grandmother showered me with, when she told me stories and I fell asleep on her lap.

-Excuse me if I cried, it’s because they told me they would always be with me and they had given me their word.”

Those of us who know how grandparents love each other and understand the enormous love grandparents feel for their grandchildren can understand these words.
