However, Keanu won the Power of Veto.

The Big Brother 27 week 3 Power of Veto ceremony has taken place, and the Veto was used to save someone from the chopping block.

The Big Brother 27 live feeds revealed that Veto winner Keanu saved himself from the chopping block, forcing Lauren to name a replacement nominee. She chose Adrian Rocha, after debating between him and Ashley Hollis. Lauren had a hard time making her decision but ultimately decided that nominating Adrian was best for her game.

In order to keep herself off of the chopping block, Ashley had even promised not to nominate Lauren until Jury began. Adrian was upset by Lauren’s decision.

What Week 3 Power Of Veto Ceremony Results Mean For Big Brother 27

Either Adrian Or Kelley Could Be Evicted

By nominating Keanu, who was the house’s target, Lauren played it safe during her HOH. However, her plan was destroyed when Keanu won the Power of Veto. Lauren then found herself stuck between two sides of the house, with Vince Panaro and Jimmy Heagerty pushing for Ashley to go up, and Rachel Reilly and others wanting Adrian on the chopping block.

Adrian won the BB Blockbuster competition last week, so it’s possible that he could do it again. However, Kelley has also won two competitions, including the week 1 BB Blockbuster and her special Power of Veto solo game. While Will hasn’t won anything yet, he’s most likely going to remain a pawn, and he’ll be safe no matter what happens.

Our Take On Big Brother 27’s Week 3 Power Of Veto Ceremony Results

Lauren Played It Safe With Her HOH Nominations

It’s disappointing to see that Lauren played it safe with her HOH nominations, even when she had the chance to put up a big target as a replacement nominee. Like week 2 HOH Jimmy, who nominated Will and Amy Bingham, rather than a stronger player such as Rachel or Rylie Jeffries, Lauren chose nominees who’d get the least amount of blood on her hands.

As a superfan, Lauren should’ve realized that this might be her only chance to make her mark on the game as HOH, and she should’ve taken a shot at someone who’ll pose a threat to her later in the season. However, Lauren instead chose to nominate four people who’d been on the chopping block before, which made them easy targets.

In addition, Lauren chose to put up Adrian instead of Ashley, which wasn’t a smart move. Getting Ashley out of the house would’ve weakened her friend Rachel even further after she lost her closest ally, Amy, last week. Big Brother always tells us to expect the unexpected, but there was nothing surprising about Lauren’s nominations.

Big Brother season 27 airs Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and every other Friday at 8 p.m. EDT on CBS.
