Because of a nerve injury in her small intestine, her tiny body fights every day. She wakes up hurting, often getting sick, and it’s heartbreaking to watch. This is the life we’ve had to adjust to. Foster care is challenging, especially with medical needs, but these children are worth every sacrifice, every restless night.
