“After my daughter’s doctor appointment, my husband and I decided to take the kids out to eat for lunch at Maggiano’s in the Springfield mall. When we got inside and ordered I quickly realized we were out of baby formula. My husband left to run and grab some. While he was gone, all hell broke loose. I rarely travel to a restaurant with all three kids by myself for a good reason. They are usually well behaved and with my husband there I wouldn’t second guess the situation. Today my son decided he didn’t like the meal he ordered, my daughter Kaiya quickly became bored, and my youngest Reese (who is currently teething) decided to have a screaming fit because of her teeth coming in. I quickly became very overwhelmed because there were other diners who I really didn’t want to disturb. As my children grew louder, I was at a loss as to how to handle the situation on my own. While trying to calm them down, one of the restaurant staff came over and kindly offered to hold Reese and console her while I finished my meal. She didn’t have to do this and she showed what great character she has.”
