After a backflip went wrong at a trampoline park, 18-year-old Ella Walker landed on her head and was rushed to the hospital with a severe spinal injury.

Doctors told her that if the injury had been just a couple inches higher on her spine, she could have been paralyzed.

Knowing that Ella will miss her prom, the hospital staff teamed up to surprise her with a prom of her own.

Held the same night as her real high school prom, the hospital celebration included decorations, flowers, friends, family, and even her boyfriend.

“I felt like I was surrounded by angels,” Ella commented.
