HBO’s The Last of Us sees huge drop in ratings amid backlash over ‘woke’ storylines.
The show, which sparked controversy over a scene featuring Bella Ramsay’s character proclaiming she is “going to be a dad” had 1.6 million viewers less during the season finale compared to the season premiere.
The finale drew in 3.7 million viewers compared to 5.3 million for the season premiere.
In comparison, the season finale for season one of the show received 8.2 million viewers.
