Authorities have identified Mohamed Soliman as the suspect arrested in connection with a violent attack on pro-Israel demonstrators at Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall on June 1, 2025.
According to reports, Soliman allegedly disguised himself as a landscaper and threw Molotov cocktails at a group participating in a “peaceful humanitarian walk for hostages” organized by Run For Their Lives, near the Boulder County Courthouse.
The attack, which occurred around 2:00 PM MDT at the intersection of 13th and Pearl streets, left multiple victims injured, including some with burn injuries, and at least five individuals were hospitalized. Witnesses reported that the suspect threw incendiary devices into the crowd, with one woman needing to roll on the ground to extinguish flames.
The FBI is investigating the incident as a “targeted terror attack,” and Colorado Governor Jared Polis has condemned it as a “heinous act of terror.” Social media posts and local news reports, including from CBS Colorado and Denver7, have described visual evidence of burn marks at the scene and a shirtless man being detained by police.
The investigation remains ongoing, with federal and local law enforcement continuing to provide updates.
