A Stray Dog in Need of More Than Food
When rescuers arrived at a location reported by a local resident, they found a homeless dog who had formed a special bond with the man’s pets. Although the man tried his best to provide food regularly, the dog clearly needed more thorough care and medical attention.
Gaining Trust and Offering Hope
Using food as encouragement, the rescue team gently earned the dog’s trust before securing him with a leash. They lovingly named the sweet-natured dog Pax.
Pax remained calm and cooperative throughout the entire process, allowing the rescuers to lift him into their vehicle with ease. It was clear he felt relieved, finally receiving the help he had long needed.
Medical Care That Changed Everything
The team transported Pax to an animal hospital, where veterinarians treated several health issues, including:
- Skin infections
- Ear and eye infections
- Mange
- Open wounds
Despite the discomfort, Pax was incredibly cooperative during treatment and even allowed staff to bathe him with medicated shampoo to help heal his skin.
A Beautiful Transformation and a Forever Home
Soon after his recovery began, The Forgotten Dog Foundation stepped in to help Pax find a loving forever home. With his wounds healed and his fur restored, Pax blossomed into a beautiful, joyful dog.
Today, he is delighted to be part of a caring family, proof that compassion and rescue efforts can change a life completely.
