Heike Pirngruber used to be afraid of dogs, having been chased by them while traveling. However, in 2020, while in a beach hut in Baja, California, a stray dog named Max and his pals changed her mind.
Then came Butch, a small, golden puppy from a neglected litter. Heike knew he was hers from the start.
They’ve since traveled the Americas together, exploring deserts, mountains, and cities by foot, motorcycle, canoe, and tuk-tuk. Butch became more than a pet; he represented strength, faith, and happiness.
Their journey, fueled by love and adventure rather than a specific goal, continues, taking them from Spain to Greece.
