This morning, I was about to follow my daughter’s school bus to her field trip at Venetucci Farm. She goes to Sunrise Elementary. While I was waiting, a police officer arrived and got out of his car to assist a young boy. I think the boy missed his bus. The officer drove him to school, helped him out of the car, tied his shoes, and walked him inside. I had to document this, especially given the current negative perception of police officers. Isn’t it wonderful to witness? I didn’t get the officer’s name, but I wanted to share this so everyone could see that not all police officers are portrayed accurately.
