Never thought I would defend Colt for anything, but here we are…
Don’t understand why the show, the Between the Sheets after show, and so many online are ridiculing his dancing. Ok, he’s not a great dancer. But how many of us are?
He wasn’t pulling an Elaine by getting everyone up and crowded around to watch his moves a la Seinfeld. From what I saw, he wasn’t trying to get attention at all.
He was just being a human, hearing music that made his body want to move, so he moved it in a way that felt good to him. True, it wasn’t sexy and he’s not picking up women with his moves, but he was feeling it and experiencing the joy of movement.
I wasn’t going to say anything, but changed my mind after a visit to Publix today. “Just Can’t Get Enough” was playing in the produce section, and I found myself grooving over to the lettuce (I must be very old since Depeche Mode is now grocery store background music). Reminded me that sometimes you just feel like dancing and nobody should laugh and make fun of you for it.
Now I can go back to siding against Colt in most circumstances. Thank you.
