Breaking news from reporter Andy Ngo: “NYPD have identified the suspect allegedly responsible for the police vehicle arson case from June 12. An Antifa-linked anarchist blog posted a claim of responsibility for the attack.
The alleged suspect, Jakhi Lodgson-McCray, 21, has been arrested multiple times at pro-Palestine protests. Police say he is wanted in connection with three cases. In addition to the arson of 11 NYPD vehicles, he is also suspected of an attempted arson of a police vehicle in Williamsburg on June 18. A claim of responsibility was also posted for that attack.
Lodgson-McCray is also wanted for a criminal mischief incident at Columbia University in September, where he posed as a student during a pro-Palestine protest and allegedly caused over $1,000 in damage. The U.S. Marshals Service is assisting in apprehending him.”
