“Hi, I’m Michael West, an author from Tuscaloosa, AL. I am trying to bring to life two children’s books: one about President Trump and the other about Elon Musk.
The Vision:
Envision an enormous, stunning children’s book that encapsulates the 45th and 47th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. Not only will this book entertain, but it will also educate young people about leadership and the importance of self-belief that propels some individuals to the heights of power. Envision a planet in which the young are not just dreaming but are also caught up in the innovative zeal of Elon Musk. That’s the kind of book I want to write. And if you’re reading this, I imagine you want to help me write it, for reasons that probably aren’t too hard to figure out. This project deserves to be realized. I can’t do it alone; I need your help!
The Goal:
Steering through the old-fashioned world of publishing has turned out to be an intense and troublesome chore, especially when it comes to obtaining an agent for one’s writing. Alas, my trials and tribulations have made me well aware of the fact that many agents tend to agitate for their interests rather than truly assist the writer. And children’s publishing, in particular, seems to be an area of concern.
A financially viable alternative is self-publishing, but it has its own set of hurdles, mainly of a monetary nature. This is the kind of situation where I could use your help!
