Woman said she needed to apologize to Charlie Kirk as she always thought the debates with students or liberals were staged.
AND then she went to the protest near her yesterday and understood just how truly uneducated, misinformed, and illogical they are:
“Hey y’all, I just got back from the No More Kings rally here in Beaumont.
I owe Charlie Kirk an apology. You know, I watched his videos where people come up and ask him questions and then he answers it.
I thought it was staged. I really didn’t think anybody could be that stupid.
I was really naive. I really didn’t think anybody could honestly be that dumb.
I talked to about 10 or 15 people. First, they got so excited when I walked up because of my penurple hair.
And I said, so where are y’all from? Are you from here?
Oh no, they’re from different places. I said, so are y’all students or what?
Yeah, about probably 10 out of the 15 were students. No, they weren’t from our area.
They just come to help do the protest. I said, so okay, what are y’all protesting?
Well, we’re protesting Trump. I said, why? Because he thinks he’s king.
I said, he can think whatever he wants. I said, y’all ain’t seen the judges smacking him down?
Well, yeah, but it’s the fact he thinks… I said, it’s irrelevant what he thinks he can do.
Our system is a threefold system. He’s only one part of that threefold.
Well just look at all of the executive orders. I said, did you by any chance pay any attention to how many executive orders President Biden signed?
And the people that he exonerated? I said, it’s part of the system.
And she goes, well here’s the thing, we really do need to get rid of the two-party system.
I said, well there’s nothing in the Constitution says anything about two parties.
And she goes, oh yes, the Republicans and the Democrats. I said, no ma’am, you’re wrong there.
I said, no ma’am, I’m right. Pull that little high-dollar phone you got and pull it up.
You don’t even have to be a part of the party. You can run on your own.
And she goes, no, you can’t. I said, do you not remember 2016?
President Trump ran on, paid for his whole campaign himself. Why don’t y’all do that?
And she goes, because that’s illegal. I said, says who? Robert Kennedy got his name on the national ballot.
Why don’t y’all do that? And she goes, well that would never work.
I said, why not? Because I’m gonna be honest with you, standing on the street corner with signs, you’re not accomplishing a whole lot, are you?
What are y’all accomplishing? Oh, well we’re raising awareness.
Well you’re raising awareness for? President Trump, I said, I’d really love you to name me one person in the United States that doesn’t know who President Trump is.
I’d really like you to do that. Because there’s two sides of the fence.
One that doesn’t think he does anything wrong and one that thinks everything he does is wrong.
I said, so, but you still haven’t told me what you’re protesting. What are you hoping to accomplish?
What is it that you think you can accomplish by doing this? She goes, well, I can tell you voted for Trump.
I said, it has nothing to do with who I vote for. Who I voted for is irrelevant.
I’m one person out of over 300 million people. It doesn’t matter how I voted.
I’m not the one standing out here with a sign saying ‘No More Kings’ when we don’t have a king.
Okay, anytime you protest, you have to have an endgame. What is your endgame?
What is it that you’re hoping to accomplish when this is over? And I lie to you not, the young lady went…
I said, do you have an endgame? Do you have a plan? What are y’all doing?
She says, well, you’re part of the old America and you just don’t understand.
Oh really, I don’t. What don’t I understand? Well, the world has to change.
Darling, over the last 120 years, the world has changed dramatically.
120 years ago, nobody owned vehicles. It was horse and buggy.
120 years ago, everybody was still using kerosene to light their house.
120 years ago y’all would have been crucified. 120 years ago, women weren’t allowed to vote.
120 years ago, black people were considered second-class citizens.
Here we are today, here we are today where you can be whatever you want if you’re willing to put the work in.
I would say America has changed. Over the last 61 years, I’ve watched it change.
And it’s changed a whole lot the 40 years prior to that. So what is it that you think needs to change?
Well, we need universal healthcare. According to who? Who’s in control of this universe?
Because I’m gonna tell you right now, you go to England and have an issue in your body that’s not life-threatening, it may be three or four months before you get seen.
Here, you can drive to Galveston and they’ll see you, doesn’t matter what’s wrong with you, they’ll see you.
And she says, women don’t have any rights. Women don’t have rights? What rights don’t we have?
The rights to our own body. Oh no, that’s where I differ with you.
You 100% have the right to your own body. You have the right to keep your body to yourself and nobody else touch it.
You have the right to control what goes on on your body. And the only time that changes is when you decide to make another person in your body.
Then that other person has rights. I said, did you know in just my lifetime, if a woman went to the doctor, she couldn’t get birth control unless her husband signed for it?
Just in my lifetime, a woman didn’t have the right to her own healthcare.
Just 20 years ago, a woman didn’t have the right to get her tubes tied at 20 years old because her future husband may want children.
That’s just in my lifetime. So what rights are you saying women don’t have?
You 100% have the right to your body, more so than any woman in any stage of history ever.
Prior to the 1970s, you had no rights. Your husband had rights.
So what rights do you need? The right to kill a baby? I challenge you, why don’t you just not make one?
There are a hundred dozen ways of not becoming pregnant that women 100 years ago didn’t have.
Yeah, I’m sitting here totally my whole idea blown to smithereens.
I didn’t think there were people out there that were legitimately that ignorant.”
