Sheila Carter, portrayed by Kimberlin Brown, is one of the most infamous villains on the soap opera ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.’ Originally introduced on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ Sheila later made her way to its sister show and has been causing chaos in Los Angeles for three decades. As we commemorate her special anniversary, let’s revisit her most memorable crimes.

- Kidnapping Lauren Fenmore’s Baby Sheila’s first major crime occurred on ‘The Young and the Restless,’ laying the foundation for her transition to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful.’ Working as a nurse in Genoa City, she developed an infatuation with Dr. Scott Grainger, who was married to Lauren Fenmore. After a one-night stand with Scott, Sheila became pregnant, but her baby tragically died.
Meanwhile, Lauren gave birth to a son, whom Sheila switched with a black-market baby. Sheila raised the switched child, Scotty Grainger, as her own. However, her deceit was eventually uncovered by Lauren. Before she could be apprehended, Sheila was presumed dead in a house fire.

- Accidental “Murder” of Her Son Finn Upon Sheila’s return to ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ in 2021, she revealed that she was the birth mother of Finn, who had recently married Steffy Forrester. Sheila and Steffy clashed over Sheila’s involvement in Finn’s life, leading to a tragic confrontation. In a heated moment, Sheila pulled out a gun and accidentally shot Finn, resulting in his death.
Sheila also shot Steffy, but Steffy survived and managed to implicate Sheila in Finn’s murder. Despite escaping from prison, Sheila discovered that Finn was alive and nursed him back to health. Eventually, she allowed Finn to reunite with his family while going into hiding after faking her own death.
- Shooting Taylor Hayes Sheila’s penchant for guns led to a dangerous situation in 2002 when she held Eric Forrester and Taylor Hayes hostage. However, when Brooke Logan entered the scene, Sheila shifted her focus. Taylor fought Sheila for the gun, resulting in Taylor being shot. Sheila was arrested and sent to prison, while Taylor was believed to have died from her injuries. However, Taylor later returned alive, thanks to Prince Omar.
Additionally, Sheila made several attempts to kill Stephanie Forrester, her formidable adversary. In 1996, she poisoned Stephanie by tampering with her medication, causing Stephanie’s health to deteriorate. In 1998, Sheila accused Stephanie of stealing her husband and threatened to harm Thomas Forrester. James Warwick, Sheila’s ex-husband, overheard the threat and had her arrested.
Sheila’s reign of terror has left a lasting impact on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ and its characters, solidifying her status as one of the most memorable villains in soap opera history.
