Forced 20% gratuity for a sucky waiter in a tourist trap π₯°
We went to this little Italian restaurant in St Augustine FL a few days ago and all of a sudden the check came and we found out this restaurant forces you to pay 20% tip. There was nothing in the restaurant or on the menu saying this. To add on, the water was horrible and rude which I assume was because he knew he’d get a tip and when he asked he said everyone in St Augustine does this… They don’t. My moms German so I assume he thought we were tourists when we literally live barley an hour away and come here a lot. No one does this.
