When a Wounded Cop Couldn’t Attend His Son’s Game, 8+ Officers Showed Up—Here’s Why Parents Surprised When 8+ Cops Show Up at Kids’ Baseball Game.

When a Texas state trooper named Juan Tovar was badly hurt while doing his job, his family and fellow officers stood by him. Since Juan couldn’t make it to his son’s baseball game, his fellow troopers showed up in his place to show love and support.

According to the Highway Patrol office in Madisonville, Texas, Juan was shot by a man named Larry Bollin. Bollin had opened fire at a cabinet factory in Bryan, killing one person and hurting six others. Juan was rushed to St. Joseph’s Health Center in Bryan and then flown to a hospital in Austin. He was seriously hurt but still alive. The man who shot him was arrested and charged with murder. The people he hurt were his coworkers, and four of them were in critical condition right after the shooting.

Thankfully, Juan got better faster than expected. The doctors and nurses in both Bryan and Austin took great care of him, and his recovery went well.
