“This is Mr. Jewell. He is wonderful. Here’s why I think so: We stopped at McDonald’s to grab a quick breakfast and decided to go inside instead of eating on the road. I am so happy we did. This gentleman is the nicest employee of a fast food restaurant that I have encountered in my entire life! Actually, just the nicest employee anywhere. As we waited for our food, he came and shook all of our hands and asked how we were doing today. He had a big smile and wished us a happy day. He went over to the soda dispenser area and was tidying up as we got our drinks. He handed us lids and straws with another big smile and some more polite conversation. I watched him as we ate. He greeted every customer and shook their hands and had conversations with everyone. And I noticed that most everyone he talked to couldn’t help but smile too. His happiness was contagious! I think he deserves recognition for going above and beyond his job and truly touching the hearts of the people he meets. He literally made my day! Let’s be honest, it seems true customer service with a smile is hard to find these days. And with the strife and turmoil and negativity we are bombarded with these days, I think we need to share positivity when we come across it. Thank you, Mr. Jewell for making a difference.”
