Santa Ana Police Officers take down two people to arrest them before a guy trucks an officer. The officer then beats the thugs with his baton to protect himself and his fellow officers.
“As officers were making the arrest, a large crowd surrounded and assaulted officers, preventing the initial arrest,” Santa Ana PD Officer Natalie Garcia told City News Service.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning, resulting in the arrest of three men and two women who assaulted three police officers.
The officers were injured with cuts and abrasions.
