“Mom and I were at Trader Joe’s the other day.”

A kind man named Charles, who works at Trader Joe’s, came over to ask how my mom was feeling and to say how beautiful her hair looked. My mom told him she was very sad because she had recently lost her husband.
Charles went and got her some flowers, tissues, and a bottle of water. He stayed with her for about 45 minutes while she cried and talked about my dad.
He was very kind and even helped us carry our groceries to the car. This is one of the reasons I really love Trader Joe’s. The workers there always try to help customers and do more than expected to make shopping a nice experience.
