We were in Wrigleyville on the rooftop of Old Crow Smokehouse when I noticed a blind Cubs fan trying to hail a cab… for several minutes. People walked by. Some glanced, most didn’t.
Until she walked up.
Gently asked if he needed help.
And then stood with him until a cab finally pulled over.
No big scene. No applause. Just quiet kindness in a world that needs more of it.
The media shows so much hate, but there’s still so much good out here—
and this girl proved it.
