JUST IN – UPDATE: A GOP senator is calling for John Thune to FIRE the Senate Parliamentarian and files a resolution ensuring this can’t happen again by imposing a term limit.
The current one, appointed by Harry Reid in 2012, is gutting the Big Beautiful Bill of major MAGA provisions like defunding Medicaid for illegals and sanctuary cities.
“The current parliamentarian has been in office since 2012, appointed by Harry Reid,” Senator Roger Marshall said, per Fox
“This is NOT an elected position. Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Term limits on a person with this absolute power need be implemented.”
