Gordon, who’s 85, absolutely loves taking care of his yard with his riding lawn mower. But when the pandemic hit last year, he had to quarantine at his son’s place. When he got back a few months later, he found out someone had stolen his mower. So, he grabbed a big piece of cardboard and wrote, “Bring back my mower. I’m 85, I can’t push!” and put it out in his front yard, hoping the thief would return it.
His daughter-in-law thought it would be great to share his story on social media. To everyone’s surprise, an anonymous person ended up buying him a brand new riding lawn mower, which was presented to him by the local sheriff’s department. Gordon’s family was so grateful he had a mower again, and he really enjoys getting back to his yard work!
