– Large B2 strike package left the continental U.S. on midnight Friday.
– Part of the package went east, the other went west as a decoy.
– The main strike package was comprised of 7 B2 bombers which flew for 18 hours into the target area.
– 14 Bunker Buster bombs were dropped.
– 75 precision guided weapons were used during the operation.
– “More than 125 US aircraft participated in this mission, including B2 stealth bombers, multiple flights of fourth and fifth gen fighters, dozens of air refueling tankers, a guided missile submarine, and a full array of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft, as well as hundreds of maintenance and operational professionals.”
