FAFO: Nadler Found Out And He’s OUTRAGED With DHS After Staffer Handcuffed For “Haboring Rioters”
Conflict between the Trump administration and House Democrats is intensifying after Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agents reportedly entered the office of Representative Jerry Nadler (D-N.Y.) without permission.
The event, which occurred last week, involved DHS agents briefly detaining one of Nadler’s staff members. The agents claimed they were searching for “protesters” in the congressman’s Manhattan office, with one agent reportedly accusing Nadler’s aides of “harboring rioters.”
This incident has angered Nadler and other Democratic members of Congress, who have criticized President Trump for allegedly disregarding the separation of powers and legal limitations, particularly in his administration’s efforts to deport undocumented immigrants.
Speaking on Monday, Nadler described the administration’s actions as “outrageous” and accused DHS of “lying” about the specifics of the incident. He is demanding an investigation into what he views as an overreach of executive authority to target political opponents.
Regarding the event, Nadler told CNN on Monday: “They barged in. And in barging in one of the offices, a very big, heavyset fellow pushed my aide — a very petite young woman — and they then said that she pushed back and they shackled her and took her downstairs,” adding, “And she was obviously traumatized.”
