I've been rewatching the series and am at Tammy's stay in the rehab center. The staff seems great and supportive but I'm shocked at how little time they seem to devote to education about living healthy once they leave. There should be nutrition and cooking classes and visits to the grocery store rather than simply offering meals with some healthy options.
I do realize that this might be editing choices on the show combined with the reality that most of these people aren't actually healthy enough to leave. However it does seem like they're set up to fail without actually learning survival skills for healthy living beyond their time at the center.
Does anyone have any experience with these places and was their center any better with this?
