CROCKETT: “Texans are protesting peacefully, and Greg Abbott has the National Guard on standby.”
Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) told her followers on X Wednesday morning that “nothing scares him [Abbott] more than the people standing up and speaking out.”
“Let me remind y’all: the right to peaceful protest is in the Constitution. This isn’t about peace. It’s about control. And that’s exactly why folks are in the streets to begin with,” she added.
Crockett posted her delusional remarks after news broke that Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said he’d deploy the Texas National Guard to locations across the state “to ensure peace and order,” ahead of a planned protest in San Antonio, according to NBC News.
