Alexei Surovtsev, a Ukrainian actor who risked his life surveying destroyed buildings in the city of Irpin looking for abandoned pets.
While the city was under siege, he handed over more than 200 animals to his owners’ cats, dogs, parrots and turtles. Helping any sentient creature in distress or suffering is a kindness.❤
