Big Brother 27 Week 6 Power Of Veto Ceremony: Rachel Reilly’s Shocking Move

WARNING! THIS ARTICLE CONTAINS MAJOR SPOILERS ABOUT BIG BROTHER 27!The Big Brother 27 week 6 Power of Veto ceremony has taken place, and Head of Household (HOH) Rachel Reilly shocked her fellow houseguests with her next move. Rachel had nominated Vince Panaro, Morgan Pope, and Mickey Lee for eviction. However, Lauren Domingue won the Power of Veto, and she informed Rachel right before the Power of Veto ceremony that she was going to use it.

Although Rachel had previously told Lauren that it was her Veto and she should use it if she wanted to, she was upset that she informed her that she was doing it at the last minute. Rachel warned Lauren that she wouldn’t be able to work with her in the future if she did.

The Big Brother 27 live feeds revealed that Lauren used the Power of Veto to save Vince from the chopping block, so Rachel nominated Rylie Jeffries in his place. Lauren has a Final 2 deal with Vince, so it made sense that she used it. However, many of the houseguests were upset that Rachel nominated Rylie in Vince’s place, because they expected the replacement nominee to be Ashley Hollis or Kelley Jorgensen.

Keanu Soto confronted Rachel about her decision, asking her why she’d nominate Rylie. Rachel told him that she thought that they had the votes to evict Rylie, who now appears to be her target. Keanu was angry that Rachel didn’t consult him about the replacement nominee, and he questioned their new Final 2 alliance, the Frenemies. Rachel told Keanu that she didn’t trust Rylie.

What Rachel Reilly Nominating Rylie Jeffries Means For Big Brother 27

Rachel Isn’t Afraid To Make Bold Moves

It’s shocking that Rachel nominated Rylie for eviction because it’s such a big move. However, at the same time, it’s not surprising because Rachel isn’t afraid to do bold and risky things in order to move herself forward in the game. However, Rylie still has the chance to save himself during the BB Blockbuster, and he already won the competition during week 4 when Mickey took over his HOH.

By nominating Rylie for eviction, Rachel is sending a clear message to the other houseguests that she’s playing her own game, and she’s not going to nominate her own allies as pawns. In addition, this could be her chance to break up the showmance of Rylie and Katherine Woodman, which she encouraged Rylie to pursue, because she had a plan to make them into a bigger target than her. Rachel is the Queen of Big Brother for a reason.

Our Take On Rachel Nominating Rylie For Eviction

Rachel Could Be In Trouble Next Week

Now that Rachel has nominated Vince, Morgan, Mickey, and Rylie for eviction, she’s made it very obvious where she stands in the house. She’s angered some of her own allies with this move, including Keanu, so she could definitely be in trouble next week when she’s ineligible to play for HOH.

However, even if Rachel is nominated for eviction, she still has the chance to save herself with the Power of Veto and/or the BB Blockbuster. She’s proven in the past that she could get herself out of a sticky situation, so she’ll most likely be able to do it again.

Rachel wasn’t going to waste her HOH, and no matter who goes home this week, she’ll be getting a strong player out of the Big Brother 27 house. Rachel’s HOH is certainly the definition of the show’s motto “expect the unexpected.”
