Todd was just trying to get to a funeral.
But when his car began to groan and die on a Wisconsin backroad, he figured he’d surely miss it.
Then he crossed paths with Glenn—a 74-year-old mechanic working out of a small shop in Wild Rose. After checking the car, Glenn told Todd the repair would take a few hours.
Todd’s heart sank. He was only 70 miles away, but the clock was ticking down fast.
And then Glenn did something truly remarkable.
He grabbed his own truck keys and offered:
“Take my truck.”
No questions asked. No paperwork. Just pure trust.
Because of that singular act of kindness, Todd arrived at the funeral. When he returned, they sat and chatted like longtime friends.
Since then, strangers have been pulling up to Glenn’s shop—not for car trouble, but just to thank him.
