You can trust us! This child was saved from bullies who had taken his shoes by two kind police officers from Ohio.
A few bullies took this boy’s shoes, and the next day he had to wear his grandmother’s shoes to school. Some kids teased and laughed at him because of it. The boy didn’t want to face more bullying, so he skipped school the next day. He told his story to two sheriff’s deputies.
The deputies started collecting donations from the neighborhood and then took the boy to Foot Locker. They told him to pick out any pair of shoes he liked. You can see how happy he is as he hugs one of the officers.
The sheriff said, “I hope people see THIS as the real face of law enforcement! In a time when some people try to criticize police, this is just one of many stories about our Deputies doing good things for the people they serve.”
