My crochet portrait addiction has returned. And I couldn’t be happier about it! After months of languishing as an abandoned WIP, I finally found the motivation to finish this piece in the last week or two. And now the itch to stitch is back in full force, and I’m already wanting to play my next.
Some stats, for those interested! This tapestry is my smallest and least time intensive portrait (of only 4, to be fair) yet – 110st x 150rows and about 70 hours went into it. It’s approximately 40 by 55 cm. I used 22 colours and 4 different yarn brands/types, all 8/4 cotton or equivalent. It’s backed with fusible interfacing so no ends to weave in, and I’ve included before and after pics of the back for those morbidly curious π
