I met my new friend Todd today. He’s 46 years old but has the excitement of a 6-year-old. He was flying for the first time to meet his brother in Florida for some special doctors. He had to be carried onto the plane, and he was really nervous. Right away, he said loudly, “I’ll probably throw up!” The man sitting between us got up and moved—lol.
I helped Todd through takeoff and landing.
I felt so lucky to be there as he kept saying, “OH WOW!! OH WOW!!” when we flew up into the clouds. And when the flight attendant told him the Coke was FREE, he was so happy! He said he couldn’t wait to tell his friends all about his trip.
People around us smiled as Todd looked around the plane, amazed. He kept saying, “I’ve only seen an airplane on TV. I never thought I’d be inside one!”
Since I had the window seat and he needed help getting off, we were the last to leave. But just as I was about to go, Todd shouted, “MS. SUE… I’LL NEVER FORGET YOU FOR HELPING ME! I’LL THINK ABOUT YOU THE REST OF MY LIFE AND TELL MY FRIENDS HOW NICE YOU ARE!”
Be kind to others… and be blessed! 😊
