Love Island USA fans were treated to a guest appearance by mega star Megan Thee Stallion during episode 15 of Love Island USA season 7, and she was the perfect fit as a guest host. Love Island USA has been mixing things up this season by bringing in celebrities to guest host challenges, such as when they had Summer House‘s Paige DeSorbo pop in for a lumberjack-themed challenge. Paige’s appearance ushered in a new wave of guest stars, which aren’t revealed until the episode’s first look drops the day it airs.
When Megan Thee Stallion’s cameo was revealed, it felt right to have a feminist icon like her visit the island and have fun with the Islanders. The Islanders received a text letting them know that not only were they being gifted items from Megan Thee Stallion’s new swimwear line, but Megan herself, aka the Hot Girl Coach, was going to drop by the island. This sent the Islanders into a tizzy, as they screamed and hugged each other knowing that one of the biggest names in music was going to be joining them.

On Love Island USA, getting a text message is everything. On this episode, after a rough night of recoupling, the Islanders received a text. Well, several texts. The texts revealed that not only would the women in the villa be treated to items from Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer line of swimsuits, but Megan herself would be dropping by. The Islanders were ecstatic at the news, hugging and cheering when it was announced.
“The one and only [Megan Thee] Stallion, baby. Do you understand that she was one of the girls who taught me to shake this little booty?… I don’t think I’m ready to see her, but baby I’m excited,” said Amaya Espinal.
The Islanders were more excited for Megan’s pending visit than any Bombshell. Nic even mentioned that this was the energy the villa needed after the past few days they’d had. And he was right, because Megan brought the energy to the villa.

Megan obviously watches the show, and had notes for the girls. When Olandria realized Megan knew her name, she squealed with excitement. Megan commended Chelley for putting Ace Greene in check, and said she nearly “jumped through the TV” during that scene. Megan said that Love Island is “[her] type of show,” and America clearly agrees with her.
